These peanut butter chocolate bars are so easy to make, gluten free and kids will absolutely love it. In less than one hour from now you can enjoy these sweet treats, which are also a great dessert to make with your kids.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars

For the base:

  • 50 grams (1/4 cup) sugar
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 60 grams (3 tbsp.) corn syrup
  • 50 grams (3 tbsp.) soft butter
  • 75 grams Rice Krispies

For the filling:

  • 150 grams milk chocolate
  • 200 grams smooth peanut butter

For the chocolate coating:

  • 200 grams dark chocolate
  • 125 ml. (1/2 cup) cold whipping cream

Decoration:

  • Smooth peanut Butter
  1. Base: in a medium pan put sugar, water and corn syrup and cook until very light caramel is formed. Add butter and stir until dissolved.
  2. Remove from heat and add in Rice Krispies. Stir until coated with the caramel mixture.
  3. Pour the mixture on the bottom of the pan and press tightly to create a thin base.
  4. Cool for 30 minutes in the freezer.
  5. Chocolate and peanut butter filling: chop the chocolate and put in a small bowl.
  6. Add in peanut butter and melt in the microwave or over double-boiler until mixture is smooth.
  7. Pour the mixture onto the base and spread evenly.
  8. Cool in the freezer for about an hour until set.
  9. Dark chocolate coating: chop the chocolate and put in a bowl.
  10. Add in cream and melt in the microwave or or over double-boiler until mixture is smooth.
  11. Pour the ganache on top of the peanut butter and flatten the top.
  12. Cool for at least 2 hours in the freezer.
  13. Cut into rectangles and pipe a little peanut butter on top for decoration.
  • Keep the peanut butter chocolate bars in a sealed box in the freezer for up to 2-3 weeks.
