Peanut Butter and Oatmeal Energy bites

For the oatmeal energy bites:

  • 500 grams (1 pack) date paste (or pitted large Madjhool dates)
  • 100 grams (1 cup) whole oats or oatmeal
  • 120 grams (1/2 cup) natural smooth peanut butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • 100 grams (1 cup) ground nuts


  1. In a food processor with a steel blade, place dates, oats, peanut butter, salt and nuts and process into a uniform paste.

  2. Make balls the size of a walnuts and roll tightly.
  3. Keep refrigerated until serving.

Recipe Notes

  • The energy bites are kept in a closed container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or up to two months in the freezer.
  • You can use any type of nuts you like.
  • It is important to use natural peanut butter for a particularly healthy result.
